My 6 favorite places in Budapest so far

1. Fisherman's Bastion
The Sunset at the Budaside is always different in its colors, orange, pink, red...
The best place to let everything behind you.

2. Sitting on the liberty Bridge and having lunch
Especially on a sunny day when there is only a mild wind I love relaxing at the Libertybridge and watching the sun shimmering on the Danube river.

3. Szimpla Kert
I know this a very touristc place and sometimes too crwoded, but nevertheless it is one of the crazy decorated hungarian locations. Not only the ruin pubs are full of interesting small things to discover, whether it is on the wall or the furniture itself.
Another very characteristic place is the RomKafé Budapest (my hungarian buddy recomended it), where you can choose between many different hot chocolate flavors with plenty extra toppings like fruits or sweets.

4. Rooftop Bar with a view
My favorite rooftop bar in Winter is the 360Grad Bar at Andrassy utca. You can sit in warm and cozy iglos while appreciating the view above Budapest and its nice buildings.
It is quite expensive and my hot chocolate was more a cold chocolate but trust me it is worth it anyways.

5. Street Art in the Jewish Quarter
If I wanna leave the house for a walk, I am always chasing through the streets of the Jewish quarter, there is always a new corner to discover, whether it is a huge wall of graffitti or small paintings and mosaics.

6. The Matthias Church on the Buda side
My favorite church in Europe so far, so colorful, so bright and a beautiful location with an amazing view over the city.
