Walking around the streets - my first days in Budapest.
This week I want to tell you something about my first expressions while walking through the streets of the capital of Hungary, Budapest. First day in Budapest: Waking up in the morning after a long day of travelling before. I am really hungry and I have to be honest, I am a little bit afraid of experiencing a culture shock. Thats the reason why I go to Aldi, a german supermarket which I am used to. After having breakfast in my Airbnb I have my first appointment for visiting a flat. I am walking there by foot. There are two things, which making me experience a little culture shock. On the sidewalk is so may trash and it tickles water from the buildings. Two things that you usally can not see in Germany while walking on the sidewalk. Sadly it is a really rainy day, I think this also leads to my Homesickness.
